Yarn:  The socks were designed and knit with Rauma 2 ply Gammelserie garn. Colour A GL403 Lys grå melert (light heathered gray) and Colour B GL410 Sauesvart (black sheep) for a total of 150 (200) grams and 480 (640) meters. Rauma Gammelserie has a gauge of 28 sts = 10 cm, using 2.5 mm needles.

 

Sizing Information: Approximate Leg Circumference

Size 1: 21 to 22 cm

Size 2: 23 to 24 cm

Size 3: 25 to 26 cm

Size 4: 26 to 27 cm

 

Size 1 and 2 kit includes- 2 balls of Colour 403 and 1 ball of Colour 410. The kit also includes 1 handmade Grå Trøndersau Progress Keeper. 

 

Size 3 and 4 kit includes - 3 balls of Colour 403 and 1 ball of Colour 410. The kit also includes 1 handmade Grå Trøndersau Progress Keeper. 

 

These socks were designed to use only 100% pure Norwegian wool or pure, local wool of a simular gauge.

 

Embellishments: The red yarn pictured and used for the sock embellishment is NOT included within the kit. I designed this sock to embellish during finishing, using a bit of stash yarn. 

 

Needles:  2.0 mm or 2.5 mm, depending on your size or the needle size you need to obtain gauge for the size you choose.
