For those of you that have registered and for those of you that are not on Instagram, I wanted to share a sneak peek of our Traditional Selbu Sock design that we will knit together in October/November!
I hope you will really like this traditional design, that I have modernized for our course!
It will be exclusive to participants throughout 2020!
I will have a material list ready for you in a couple of weeks for preparation.
I have chosen to knit this sample in a traditional, celebratory, vintage red.
But I will be offering, 100% Norwegian wool in vintage red, blue, yellow, green and black within a yarn kit. The yarn kit will include a little handmade knitting accessory and can be purchased within my farm shop, with interest.
We will learn so many traditional techniques within this sock course!
If you are currently taking the mitten course, it is sure to expand and build upon the skills you have learnt!
If you are interested in Early Registration join us!
Warmest regards from the farm!
Patricia
Maggie - This is the participant BLOG. Under each post are comments by participants.
Sharing, but also questions which I have answered. There is a lot of interesting information for you to read and to enjoy here at your leisure. Scroll all the way down once you click on BLOG at the top and you can start from the first post.
Welcome! Take your time and enjoy!
Thank you so much Patricia! I am trying my best to orient myself to all of the areas on here since it's a new platform I'm not familiar with. Are the blog post comments located here in and in each post or do I need to look anywhere else for the blog? I'm really excited :D
laurasuzanne2006 - Registration is open. Just click on the Online Course tab at the top of this website to register. You can read about the course there.
Maggie - You can search (Selbu Mitten or Selbuvotter) on Ravelry or on google to find many pattern suggestions. Also, if you look within all of the participant blog post comments you will find many pattern suggestions. Many have posted their pattern and the name.
Within this course, we are working at many different levels. Some beginners, some experienced and choosing one's own pattern allows you to participate at your own level.
Welcome to the course!
Hi! I've registered for the mitten course and would love a pattern for that instead of choosing one. Are there any recommendations?
