Greetings from the farm!
Here we are at the end of another little farm, spring MAL event.
The spring/påske break went by so quickly, it seems.
But, as they say, time flies when you are having fun, and I do hope that each person that participated in this offering that I planned had an enjoyable and JOYFUL experience.
And! Here we are 2 months into using the new Knitography Farm community, information and support platform!
I want to say Tusen hjertelig takk for meg! (Thank you from the bottom of my heart) for embracing the changes that I have made here on the farm and continuing to join me for traditional Norwegian, historic, stranded knitting and old farm adventures.
And finally, I would like to ask a favour....
If you participated in this year's Påske Palooza, transitioning to use the platform app for this first MAL....and if you have a few minutes to share a reflection of your experience within the comments below --- I would greatly appreciate if you could share your thoughts, as a recommendation of, or as a way to improve, my work here on the farm and my offering.
Although my genser course and this MAL is coming to an end, I hope you will join me for future offerings here on the farm.
I am looking foward to spring and summer! I have A LOT to share!

Paske Palooza was fantastic each day I felt like a kid watching to see what was happening next. Patricia you create such a great learning platform. Teacher you’re one of the best. You won’t always give us the answers but helping us to find the answer. I’m in for the long journey 👏🏼💕💕
There was something for everyone during the Paske Palooza! It was a particular joy to see photos of Spring emerging and of knitting progress. The fun facts about Norway were splendid as well; paper clips are looked upon in new light! While discussions of murder mysteries are not my favorite, with the organization in Discord, it was easy to navigate around. Looking forward to more shared traditional Norwegian fun!
I’ve enjoyed the many things we’ve shared as a group as well as learning about Norwegian traditions during Easter.
I’ve tried to engage in as much as I was able during the MAL. I was able to navigate the Discord platform, although sometimes it meant going through many of the categories in order to find what I needed.
I enjoyed the MAL and look forward to events and classes to come.
I’m still in a little bit of a learning curve with your new platform, but I can appreciate how this new way will be easier and better for everyone! I look forward to my understanding and feeling more comfortable with it as time goes on. :)
I want to say a big THANK YOU to you for all that you planned and did for all of us with the Paske Palooza MAL! It is so obvious that you spent so much time and effort planning all of this, and it was fantastic! If you do more of this kind of thing in the future, I’m already looking forward to it! I especially love the Norwegian stories, traditions and history…
Dear Patricia, this was such a fun event! I was a bit hesitant with Discord at first, because I found it overwhelming, but once I got the hang of it it, it was really good and nice to talk with everyone. Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity, I really appreciate all the work you‘re doing for us, to give us such an in-depth look into Norwegian culture! I don’t have many suggestions for improvement, but I think it could be nice to have a designated place where all the files from the events would be accessible while the event is ongoing, so as not to miss a file while scrolling through the different threads.
