Hello everyone!
We are back to winter here on the mountain, with lots of snow to move on the farm today!
A gentle reminder, that I am hosting a Zoom Live Check-in Support Clinic before our special guest event tonight, from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm Central European Time Zone.
You do not need to register for this check-in, but please see the Zoom Category on the participant BLOG to find the information to log in.
If you would like to read more about and/or join our special guest event here is the direct link to register:
An information email was sent out earlier today to ensure our connection and that you receive the link and password for tonight's event.
Please do take the time to read this email carefully.
Traditional Course Offering for Spring/Summer
Registration is now OPEN - for my Traditional Norwegian Genser (sweater/jumper) Course which will launch in late May and run through the summer months.
Please note that purchasing the yarn kit, which includes the pattern pamphlet, is a requirement of my facilitating and offering the course.
*I still do not have clarity around the children's sizes or permission to use the pattern to instruct within the course. I will offer an update when I have more information.
Once you are registered, you will receive a 10% discount code for purchasing the yarn kit through April 7th.
I will send this discount code to you directly (within 24 hours) after your registration.
With interest, you can read some introductory information about the course and download the planning guide here:
You can also preview the Yarn Kits and the colour offerings within my farm shop now.
I welcome your questions, wonders, thoughts or feedback!
Please leave those within the comments below.
Warmest regards from the farm, Patricia x
I am all signed up for the summer genser course and can't wait! I'm going to be knitting one for myself and my husband. I'm going to do the red called for in the pattern for myself, but my husband wants a dark green. How do we go about ordering a different color yarn from you? Thank you for your help and can't wait to start this course!
Thanks for the wonderful and informative speaker. I have bought his book which will be more meaningful now that I have heard him talk about his patterns and his design process. I am really enjoying my journey in Norwegian knitting which has been enriched by both your knowledge and the two guest speakers. I am interested in information on the child size sweater.
Thanks so much for arranging our lovely speaker - he was super! What a journey! I was thrilled that he shared some of his design process with us, too. But you know .... he was holding up those mittens and they ummm looked HUGE🤣
Thank you Patricia for hosting Birger, I really enjoyed it!
Thank you for such a wonderful day. Birger Berge was a great guest speaker. I signed up for your Spring/Summer traditional sweater session earlier today. Thanks for everything!
