Greetings from the farm!
A few of the requested pattern possiblities for the spring course - "Choose your own path" (beginner/intermediate) offering - are now available within my little farm shop as a Pre-Order!
All of the information needed can be found within the listing.
I have provided links for you to view and to browse the content of each pamphlet.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to offer the Nancy kofte, the Eskimo kofte and a few other modern restorations that we talked about.
These patterns must be purchased within a complete yarn kit from an approved distributor.
As I do not have a collaboration with these distributors, permission was not granted.
However, the historic versions are a possiblity if you are interested in really digging in to the piece.
Nonetheless, I hope you will be able to find a beautiful, traditional Norwegian garment - that you have been dreaming of knitting to further your journey and join us this spring.
Keep in mind that I must approve your final choice.
Registration for this course opens on May 8th - it will run for approximately 6 weeks, taking us
into summer!
Velkommen!
Here is the direct link for your conveneice!
Warmest regards from the farm,
Patricia
Hi, Patricia….I have ordered both of the Rauma booklets from the Farm Shop. But what I really want to knit is the Gammel Sandvik, as seeing Laura wearing hers is what brought me into the group in the first place. I know I won’t be able to complete it in 6 weeks, but I hope I’ll be able to knit this one. Can I register for the mini-course and order the yarn from you? I’ll keep working on it all summer….. and I WILL finish it, promise!
Thanks!
Barbara
Hi Patricia, is either the Fana or the 288-14 Mønstret rundfelt jakke, dame pattern a beginner pattern? I also have KOFTEBOKKEN book of patterns, is the Bovertun med rundt baerestyke pattern on page 45 a beginner? Thank you for your help!
Thank you, Patricia, for offering these beautiful pamphlets. I love to dream.
Hi Patricia, This is so exciting! How much yarn do we need for the Fana kofte/genser?
While I'm very happy with the current options on the farm store- I would be willing to do a deep dive in the traditional Nancy kofte.....anybody else?
